How can we help?

Send a bug report, troubleshoot a save or QR scan, or join the community. Include your app version and device model so we can get to the useful part quickly.

Send a useful bug report

  • Lifespan version number from Settings.
  • Phone model and iOS or Android version.
  • The screen or feature you were using.
  • What you expected and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or short recording, if it does not expose private information.
  • Whether the issue repeats after closing and reopening the app.

Android help

QR camera: Open Android Settings → Apps → Lifespan → Permissions and allow Camera only if you want to scan HeartLink QR codes. You can keep the permission off and use the paste-code fallback.

Local progress: The current Android version stores saves on the device. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove them. Google Play sign-in is not required.

Display issue: If text or buttons appear clipped, include your device model, display size setting, and font size setting in the report.

iOS help

Existing saves: Supported versions can offer migration or restore tools for compatible prior saves. Availability depends on the app version, device, Apple account, and iCloud settings.

Game Center: If an optional leaderboard is unavailable, confirm Game Center is enabled and you are signed in under iOS Settings.

Camera: Manage Lifespan camera access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.

Saves and resets

Before clearing app storage, uninstalling, changing devices, or joining a beta, understand that local progress may be lost. If a save appears wrong, close Lifespan completely, reopen it, and confirm the selected slot before making more progress.
